Co-Curricular

The School believes in the growth of the individual personality. Pupils are, therefore, expected to adhere to the following rules through self-help, self-control and self-assessment as the school eschews corporal punishment.

Rules

Punctuality at all prayer meetings, Assembly and Class periods is expected.

Disciplined movement, from class to class, to library, to laboratories, to playground etc., is very essential.

Loudness and vulgarity in speech/behavior are forbidden.

Misuse or damage to school property, classroom furniture, equipment, books etc., will not be condoned. Defacing school walls/furniture should be avoided.

Participating in acts prejudicial to the interest of the school, theft, cheating., will result in expulsion.

Respect for all members of the school should be an inherent part of the pupil.

Costly wrist watches, gold ornaments and other accessories are not to be worn at school.(Pupils are responsible for the safe custody of their books and other belongings)No pupil should bring cameras to school

It is compulsory for every pupil to come to school in full uniform. They should be clean and tidy.

All pupils are expected to use only ink pen.

Only the pupils of std XI and XII are permitted to bring powered two wheelers to school, provided they have valid driving license.

Any party or get-together among students will be permitted only for XII pupils with prior approval of the principal.

Leave Rules

Leave should be applied for in writing only under inevitable circumstances with the approval of the parent / guardian.

Long leave of absence on medicals grounds will be granted only on the production of valid medical certificate.

Irregular attendance and leave without proper reason(s) will lead to the detention of the pupil in the same class.

Leave should be applied for prior to the availing of it.

75% attendance in a term and in a school year is necessary for promotion to next higher class.

Examination

Besides the three Terminal Examinations, Mid Term Tests will be conducted. The Mid Term Test marks will be taken into consideration for promotion.

Parent / Guardian is expected to sign and return the progress reports within three days after receipt of the same.

Parents may consult the Class Teacher / Teachers-in-charge for the overall progress of their children with prior appointment.

If any examination gets cancelled on any reason, the rest of the exams will be conducted as per the schedule. The cancelled exam will be conducted at a later date

Result once declared is final.

Withdrawl

Transfer certificates will be issued only on written request by parent / guardian. (A week's notice is essential for the same). If any other person is authorized to collect the transfer certificate on behalf of the parent, an authorization letter is essential. The parent must attest the signature of the said person.

The school authorities reserve the right to refuse admission to any pupil without giving any reason. They also reserve the right to remove the name of any pupil whose conduct, in their opinion, is deemed unsatisfactory

General

Proficiency prizes are awarded to deserving pupils for their overall performance throughout the year.

Pupils are encouraged to take part in club activities. We have English Club, Tamil Club, Science Club and Current Affairs Club. Various competitions are held and the winners are awarded prizes and certificates at the end of the year.

Merit Certificates and honour cards are issued to all deserving Students.
